Perched 120 feet in the air, an unidentified worker with Fedewa, Inc., of Hastings power washes the water tower in preparation for a new coat of paint last week. The entire project could take about three weeks. The 300,000-gallon tower is no longer connected to the county water system. A wireless network provider leases space atop the tower.
